Summer

Ah, summer!
A dazzling day-glow of miracles
Done gladly with flickering fingers
Caressing the skin of our souls
As it brightens the world all around us.
And we'll look at our magic reflections
And dance in this Summer of love.

And summer –
The winter has gone like a phantom
Fancies of clouds beam from shadows
Remembering sorrows gone past;
But the softened light of the Spirit
Will never be darkened again
And will float fancy-free in the land.

It's summer.
And soft words of loving are ripened
Allowing our love to entwine
With our prayers in the thundering
Sunshine and warmth of our being.
And summer will be our life
As warm as the seeds of the Earth.
